The place is not one of the super cheap that you can find travelling Asia, but Bangkok is not cheap as well in general compared neighbouring countries, so you have good standards, free coffee, and microwave 24/7. The position is ok because you can easily and cheaply pass the river with the boat, but if you are planning to go party every night it might be better to choose on the other side of the river because boats stop at 19.00 and transport becomes longer and more expensive especially during the rush hours.
